The Rab Syclon XP 40 is an ultralight and fully waterproof backpack developed for minimalist hikers and long treks in varying weather conditions. With a light weight of less than 900 grams, a breathable carrying system and a well thought-out pack design, it is perfectly suited for thru-hiking, mountaineering and fast alpine adventures.

Tested to IPX4 standards, the backpack combines waterproof materials with taped seams to keep gear dry even in heavy rain. The waterproof construction reduces the need for extra drybags or rain covers, saving both weight and packing volume.

The body-hugging AEROFIT™ carrying system provides efficient ventilation and high comfort during long days on the trail. The design allows warm air to be vented away while keeping the pack stable even in faster pace and technical terrain.

The roll-sealed opening makes it easy to adjust the pack volume depending on the amount of gear, while compression straps on the sides and bottom help stabilize the load. The bottom straps also serve as an attachment for a sleeping pad or tent.

Syclon XP 40 has several easy-to-access storage solutions for efficient organization while hiking. The backpack is equipped with a front pocket, side pockets for water bottles, hip belt pockets and chest strap storage for quick access to energy or soft drink bottles. A separate rear zippered compartment is perfect for hydration systems or keeping wet garments separate from other gear.
