In this video Ken goes through two different ways of doing a seam seal on a tent. You need an area with plenty of ventilation - this can be a bedroom with a window open, a garage or outdoors during the summer.
What is needed:
1. Silicone - you can use bathroom silicone, but easiest is McNett Silnet
2. House hold papper
3. A small brush
4. White gas
Video:
How to:
Step 1: Mix the silicone with white gas - about 50/50 in proportion - It will start out as a clump, the clump will be harder to mix away the colder the silicon is. So just keep mixing until it becomes well mixed like olive oil texture
Step 2: Brush the silicone mix into the tent seams with the small brush
Step 3: Wipe away access silicone mix on the tent with the house hold papper
