Complaints and returns
You as an individual have 30 days right of return when you shop with us. This means that you can return unused undamaged goods with unbroken packaging within 30 days of receiving your package.

Broken on delivery?
If the item is broken when you open the package or if the product is defective, you are, as a private individual, entitled to claim a total of 3 year from receipt of the package. However, the complaint must be made within a reasonable time and no later than 2 months after you discovered the error. If there is a warranty that is longer than 1 year, you can return the item within the warranty period.

Return shipping, who pays?
Private individuals, who exercise their right of withdrawal, pay the shipping cost of the returned item. In the event of a defect in the goods, we will refund the return shipping and the amount you paid for the damaged or incorrectly delivered item, provided we can not, or you do not want us to send a new item to you within a reasonable period of time.

I Do not pick up my package, what happens then?
If you do not pick up your package, i.e. you as a customer leave the package until it is sent back to us, the cost of handling and return shipping will fall on you, i.e. the costs for the return freight 15 Euro and another 15 Euro for additional administrative costs. It is cheaper to pick up the package and send back the things you don't want than to leave the package behind.


Required on return!
In each shipment there is a "följesedel" - order sheet. Please mark on the order sheet which items you wish to return and drop us a line at orders (@) backpackinglight.se and let us know which items you will be returning. Customer must take reasonable care to ensure that we receive the product(s) and that they are not damaged in transit. 

Please use a shipping service with tracking number to be able to track the status of your shipment and send us the tracking number in advance. We cannot be held responsible for lost packages so we recommend you to include tracking and insurance.

Shipping charges - Shipping charges incurred in connection with the return of a product are non-refundable.

OBS:
If you bought a backpack with a separate hipbelt, be sure to take off the hipbelt and return as you have received the items. (ULA Equipment, Gossamer gear backpacks)


Instructions:
  • We will contact you by email as soon as your request has been received and verified.
  • On return, all products must be returned in original packaging complete with all accessories.
  • Remember to always ship the product in outer packaging to avoid damaging the original packaging. Note: If returning shoes, do not place return slip or shipping slip directly on shoe packaging and send back. Packing must be in good, original condition otherwise we cannot accept the return
  • Pack the goods well to avoid damage. Please attach a copy of the order sheet in the package and send it to us
