LITEWAY PONCHO PYRAOMM

The long-awaited new rain protection gear - Poncho Pyraomm.

The tarp-poncho allows you to save even more weight and volume of ultralight hiking gear in your backpack, providing the maximum possible protection from rain and wind both during overnight stays and on trails during long hikes.

This ultralight and versatile poncho-tarp, combining the functionality of two pieces of gear, will be very useful for true thru-hikers.

The adjustable hood and cap allow you to customize it specifically for you, and the size of the poncho-tarp does not restrict movement while walking, even with a backpack.

The elastic belt with a fastex will securely fasten the poncho in strong winds, and the front zipper will add more comfort and provide the option for additional ventilation.

Seams of the poncho-tarp are non-sealed. For seams sealing we recommend sealant based on silicone. Mostly prefer McNett Seam Grip+SIL (earlier known as McNett Silnet Seam Sealer).

Poncho-tarp is made from 1.1 oz Levitex Silpoly 20D Ripstop 2000 mm.

PITCHING AS A SHELTER

• stretch corners with pegs in the shape of a regular rectangle;
• put the trekking pole at an angle on top or on 2 trekking poles in A-form. Please note that the sharp ends of trekking poles must be covered;
• tightening guy lines for good stretch of shelter;
• add additional guy lines.

USING AS A PONCHO

• put on the poncho over your head like a regular sweatshirt;
• wrap the back part of the poncho around yourself;
• fix the poncho with the elastic belt;
• adjust the hood for your comfort.
