GramJakt is a Swedish ultralight outdoor brand based in Umeå, Sweden.
All design, development, and testing is led from here—guided by a single principle:
every gram must earn its place.
We design equipment for people who spend long days and long nights outdoors. Gear that must perform reliably over time, in demanding environments, and far from easy exits.
Our products are conceived, prototyped, and refined in Umeå, then tested during extended trips and long-distance hikes in the Swedish mountains. We iterate relentlessly—removing what isn’t essential, strengthening what matters, and refining details until performance, durability, and weight are in balance.
In our early years, we produced locally in Sweden and later within the EU. As our ambitions grew, we made a conscious decision to focus fully on what we do best: design, testing, and product refinement.
To achieve the highest level of quality at scale, we work with a small number of carefully selected manufacturing partners—specialists capable of meeting our uncompromising standards for craftsmanship, materials, and ethical production. These partnerships allow us to use best-in-class components and advanced construction techniques without cutting corners.
Our production costs are high by choice.
We do not compete by lowering standards.
Instead, we operate with a direct-to-consumer model and a deliberately streamlined organization. By avoiding unnecessary distribution layers, we keep a direct relationship with our customers and invest our resources where they have the greatest impact: materials, construction, and long-term performance.
