For those who prioritize boat weight and packability, the Anfibio Fly paddle is the obvious choice. Weighing only 480g, it is an ideal ultralight companion, divided into five segments all under 49cm for easy storage in any daypack. The Anfibio Fly's minimalist design makes it a unique and special paddle.
Features of the paddle
The length of the paddle can be freely adjusted from 178 cm to 210 cm, which is suitable for adults of all sizes and even children. In addition, the angle of the paddle blades can be adjusted to suit individual preferences.
Materials
Made with a 24 mm diameter fiberglass shaft, the paddle offers minimal flexibility and a secure grip. The nylon blades are flexible yet durable against moderate impacts against rocks or river beds.
How to use it
Despite the minimized blade area, the Anfibio Fly provides sufficient propulsion in calm and slow moving waters such as lakes and still rivers. It is best suited for lightly packed trips and ultralight packrafts such as the Anfibio Nano SL, Anfibio Nano RTC or Anfibio Alpha XC. The paddle also works great as a lightweight, compact spare or auxiliary paddle and can also be used as a support pole for a tarp tent.
Please note
The Anfibio Fly paddle is not intended for rapids, strong currents, high winds, large open waters or trips with heavy loads (like loaded bikes).
Additional note
For open water and streams without rapids, as well as to secure the paddle when landing and taking breaks, a paddle strap is recommended
