HILLEBERG ROGEN - SAND

For various tours during the snow-free months of the year, where very low weight is of paramount importance. It is well suited for virtually all kinds of adventures, especially for those who prefer dome tents. In addition, the self-staying design, where only the vestibules need to be stretched out, makes the tent particularly well suited where ground anchors are difficult to achieve.

  • Net weight 1.8kg
  • Gross weight 2.1kg
  • Both inner tent doors have large mosquito net vents which provide excellent constant airflow and ventilation. The vestibules can also be rolled away, fully or partially to create crossdrafts in the tent.
Two poles of equal length cross over the dome and give the tent its main shape, a shorter pole over the roof increases the height and volume of the vestibules, and adds extra stability to the tent. For 2017 we have replaced the open channels and "Lock Tip" poles with standard poles and channels opening on one side only. We have also redesigned the outer tent with a curve line in the cut of its lower edge, maintaining airflow and ventilation from the previous design where the outer tent did not go all the way down to the ground. It also makes the tent easier to pitch, especially in severe weather.

The Rogen's spaciousness and self-supporting construction, as well as the very low weight and comfort of two vestibules, should appeal to many categories of users, such as paddlers, hikers and cyclists among others. It's also characteristics also make the Rogen an attractive option for solo hikers who value spaciousness and maximum comfort.
