Nitecore Extension Battery Case

This is a smart battery case that extends the operating time of headlamps such as NU40, NU43, NU50 and HC65 UHE. When the headlamp is running, it first draws power from the battery case and then switches to the headlamp's built-in battery, maximizing burn time when you need it most.

The lightweight design makes a big difference on longer rides. The battery case weighs only 2.29 oz and mounts directly to the back of the headlamp's headband, providing an even and balanced weight distribution. The result is a stable, comfortable and secure fit without feeling front-heavy.

The battery case is adapted for high-capacity 18650 Li-ion rechargeable batteries, but does not work with flat-top batteries. The intelligent charging feature makes it easy to charge when not in use by connecting a USB cable to a USB-C adapter, allowing the battery to charge smoothly and safely.

For added safety in the dark, there are also four red flashing LEDs that act as signal lights during nighttime activities. With a short press of the power button, you can also activate the remaining battery level indicators, so you always know how much energy you have left.

Sold separately, the battery pack includes the Nitecore 18650 Extension Battery Case and a cable clip. The battery case has an input of 5V 2A and an output of 5V 2A, and measures 4.17 x 1.57 x 1.38 inches.
