Gramlite 2 mm is an ultra-light, durable and extremely versatile sleeping pad - developed for those who want to get the most out of minimal weight. With only 85 grams in the pack, you get a pad that improves comfort, protection and function in a variety of situations.

Our thoughts

It's hard to overstate how useful this thin 2mm mat actually is. It's undoubtedly one of the most versatile items in my backpack - and often the one I use the most.

It always gives me a warm and dry place to sit or lie down during breaks. Being able to stretch out comfortably and make coffee on any surface makes a big difference during a long day out.

At the same time, it protects my sleeping mat from sharp rocks and uneven ground, and helps keep it in place during the night. For those who can sleep directly on EVA foam, this is also a complete, ultralight sleeping solution.

I also use it as a back panel in my frameless backpack - either by wrapping it around the pack or folding it into the back pocket. Simple and effective.

We started with thicker, lighter mats - but they didn't last. So we switched to this thinner, much more durable construction. The result is a surface that can actually withstand long-term use.

My own mat has been in continuous use for over two years and shows only minimal wear. That is why we switched completely to 2mm Gramlite. .
