CUMULUS NEO QUILT
The Neo Quilt 150 is an ultralight quilt-style summer bag for those looking for high thermal efficiency with maximum freedom of movement at night. Instead of insulation on the underside, it uses your sleeping pad as primary protection against ground chill, meaning the down loft works where it does the most good - from above and from the sides. The result is lower weight, functional warmth and a thoughtful fit in a deliberately lightweight system for hiking and outdoor living.
The closed and spacious footbox provides high comfort throughout the night. The minimalist sewn-through construction is combined with ethically produced Polish goose down with an impressive fill power of 900 cuin and the extremely lightweight outer fabric Toray® Airtastic. Together they create a distinctive summer quilt that delivers high thermal comfort despite its very low weight.
A simple attachment system for sleeping pads, compatible with pads between 50 and 60 cm in width, helps minimize heat loss when changing sleeping positions. The elastic drawstring around the neck makes it easy to quickly close the opening when the temperature drops. Compared to a classic sleeping bag, a quilt provides more space, so you can sleep on your side, on your back, with your knees drawn up, or however you prefer.
At Cumulus®, quilts have been designed and field-tested for many years, and the Neo Quilt range is fine-tuned to the smallest detail for demanding use in the field. It is designed for users who prioritize low pack weight and high thermal efficiency without compromising versatility and comfort.
Filling consists of 900 fill power ethically produced Polish goose down, totaling 150 grams of down. Outer and inner fabric is Toray® Airtastic 19 g/m² 7 denier ripstop with DWR treatment, made from 100% nylon. The sewn-through construction has separate top and bottom down chambers and a total of 38 down chambers.
The total weight is 270 grams, of which 120 grams is the weight without filling. The comfort temperature is 8 °C and the limit temperature is 3 °C. The maximum user length is 185 cm and the quilt length is 187 cm. The width is 80 cm at the top and 47 cm at the bottom.
The design has an open mummy shape with an elastic edge around the neck and a push button for secure adjustment. The footbox is closed for added warmth and comfort. The construction is minimalist with lightweight components and thoughtful detailing.
A stuff sack measuring 18 x 11 cm with a volume of 1.7 liters is included, as well as a storage bag and a mattress attachment system based on elastic bands and flat buckles.
