CUMULUS NEO QUILT 450
The Neo Quilt 450 is an ultra-lightweight three-season quilt for those who want high thermal efficiency on chilly rides - with functional warmth below 0°C and a total weight of only 610 grams. With 450 grams of ethically produced Polish goose down with 900 fill power, it delivers impressive insulation performance relative to its weight, with a comfort temperature of -2°C and a limit temperature of -8°C. A thoughtful choice for fall hikes, mountain trekking and cold nights when low pack weight is still a priority.
Like the other models in the Neo range, it lacks insulation on the underside and instead uses the base layer as protection against ground chill. This allows the down loft to work to its maximum from the top and sides, where it does the most good. The result is more warmth per gram and a lightweight, efficient sleeping system with greater freedom of movement than a traditional sleeping bag.
The spacious, shark fin-shaped and closed footbox keeps your feet warm all night long. The construction is based on 39 H-shaped down chambers that provide even distribution of the 450 grams of 900 FP down and ensure stable loft and reliable thermal insulation even in sub-zero temperatures. Top and bottom are separately filled for optimal performance.
Outer and inner fabrics are made from ultra-lightweight Toray® Airtastic 19 g/m², 7 denier ripstop with DWR treatment in 100% nylon, combining light weight with good durability. The elastic neck adjustment is enhanced by an extra down-filled collar that effectively seals around the neck and shoulders when the temperature drops, and a snap button secures the fit.
A simple mattress attachment system with elastic straps and flat buckles, compatible with 50-60 cm wide sleeping pads, reduces heat leakage when changing sleeping positions. Fine-tuned through years of design and field testing at Cumulus®, the Neo Quilt 450 is designed for users who want to combine light weight, high thermal efficiency and full freedom of movement in demanding environments.
