The Vilse Closed footbox (900FP) is a premium quilt for those who want to hike light and sleep comfortably. The quilt features a closed insulated footbox that provides a great warmth-to-weight ratio, perfect for any type of adventure.

Outer fabric: Pertex Quantum (33gsm)

A very durable and windproof outer fabric, to protect the quilt from the elements
Inner fabric: 10D Nylon (22gsm)

Durable but soft fabric that provides high comfort against the skin

Down: 900FP

900FP Polish goose down from an RDS certified supplier. For a down of extremely high quality while being as ethically produced as possible.

Features.

Box baffle construction - The quilts are sewn with box baffles, which means no sewn seams.

Large down collar (draft collar) - The large down collar wraps around the neck in a comfortable way and ensures that the heat stays on the inside and the cold on the outside. We believe that the down collar is one of the most important parts of a quilt to make it work really well, so we haven't skimped on it.

Reinforced snap buttons - The snap buttons at the neck are reinforced to make it easy to button the quilt, and to make sure they last for a long time to come.

Elastic binding in the back - The elastic binding around the opening in the back, allows the quilt to wrap around you in a better way and helps to keep the cold out.

Strategically placed strap attachments - The buckles placed one baffle wide in the quilt keep the quilt firmly in place, and when you turn, the innermost baffle acts like a drawcord to avoid a gap between the sleeping pad and the quilt.

Ergonomic footbox - The trapezoid-shaped footbox gives your feet plenty of room to rest naturally, and fits you regardless of your sleeping position.

Overfill - The quilts have 30% overfill as standard, ensuring the down stays in place and avoiding coldspots.

Differential Cut - The outer fabric is wider than the inner fabric, allowing the down to fully fluff without compressing, even when you pull the quilt tighter around you.

Magnetic-tag drawcord - The elastic drawcord in the collar can be tightened when it gets cold to close tightly around your neck. And to avoid getting tangled in the drawstring during the night, it's easily attached with the magnetic tag on the stray patch on the front of the quilt.
