Big Agnes String Ridge VST 1.5 is a technologically advanced ultralight tent for those who want to keep their pack weight down without compromising on function or comfort. Perfect for hiking, mountaineering and bikepacking where every gram counts.

Ultralight construction with maximum function

The String Ridge VST 1.5 combines the low weight of trekking pole tents with a stable and well thought-out construction. The asymmetrical design with external support optimizes the internal volume and makes the tent both spacious and relatively easy to travel.

The extra "0.5" size also provides dedicated space for a pack - or a dog - making the tent more versatile than a traditional one-man tent.

Innovative materials and weather protection

The tent is built with Big Agnes' proprietary HyperBead™ technology, which balances light weight with high durability and reliable protection:

• Outer fabric: 20D recycled polyester ripstop, 4000mm water column
• Floor: 15D nylon ripstop, 1500 mm water column
• PFAS-free waterproofing

The hybrid single/double wall construction together with integrated ventilation effectively reduces condensation without requiring extra torque during setup.

Optimized for trekking poles

The tent is pitched with two trekking poles, keeping weight down and making it a natural choice for ultralight treks. The external construction frees up more usable space inside.
