PyraOmm Plus Tarp 3P
The PyraOmm Plus Tarp is an ultralight pyramid-style shelter for those who want to maximize space without carrying unnecessary weight. Its large interior volume, high ceiling, and stable pyramid construction make it ideal for longer trips, changeable weather, and hikes where comfort is just as important as a light pack weight.
The tarp is primarily designed for two people with plenty of space, but can also accommodate three people if needed. The two separate entrances with water-repellent YKK AquaGuard zippers make it easy for everyone to get in and out without disturbing each other.
The PyraOmm Plus Tarp can be set up with a trekking pole in the center, with two trekking poles in an A-shape to create even more usable floor space, or hung from the top. At least four tent stakes are required for setup. Tent stakes and trekking poles are not included.
By combining the tarp with the PyraOmm Half Mesh 1P or PyraOmm Plus Full Mesh, you get an ultralight, frameless two-layer shelter with effective protection against insects and condensation.
For hikers who are 185 cm or taller, the PyraOmm Plus is recommended due to its higher ceiling height and larger interior volume.
Seam Sealing
The seams are not factory-sealed. For the best weather protection, we recommend sealing the seams with a silicone-based sealant, such as McNett Seam Grip + SIL (formerly McNett Silnet Seam Sealer).
Setup in 4 Steps
- Stretch out the corners with tent stakes so that they form a regular rectangle.
- Place the trekking pole vertically from the inside toward the top of the tarp, about 160 cm high. At the top, there is a reinforced protective pocket that also works for an A-frame setup.
- Tighten the lines until the tarp is evenly stretched.
- Attach additional storm lines as needed for increased stability.

Important Information
The sharp tips of the trekking poles must always be protected with pole tips or equivalent protection. Alternatively, a soft cloth or other equipment can be placed between the pole tip and the tarp. Never insert sharp pole tips directly into the top of the tarp, as this can damage or puncture the material.
