MesoSpire 2
Based on the patented StratoSpire offset pole geometry, the MesoSpire 2 is a two-person, single-wall tent with unrivaled interior space, ventilation and stability. With more internal volume than any comparable tent, a 132cm wide floor area and raised corners, the MesoSpire 2 redefines what an ultralight tent can feel like. Using the same principles as the StratoSpire, with small faceted panels, balanced guy ropes and a hexagonal basic shape, the MesoSpire offers excellent storm resistance. It is also one of the few tents on the market - along with our Dipole range - that can fully utilize two pairs of trekking poles. The body of the tent is fully packable, and the optional poles fold to just 28cm, making the MesoSpire extremely easy to pack.
Like all our tents, the MesoSpire uses some of the most high-performance materials available and doesn't compromise on durability by using thinner fabrics to achieve low weight. The outer tent is made from 100% silicone coated 20D high tenacity polyester ripstop, and the floor is 100% silicone coated 30D Nylon 6.6 ripstop. Many competing tents use inferior PU coatings and fabrics with lower denier and durability, and often the same fabric for both outer tent and floor to save costs.
