Easy set-up of your inner tent

The Stargazer Kit makes it easy to pitch the inner tent of your 2025 X-Mid 1 or 2 (does not work with pre-2025 or Pro Series models). It uses matching buckles that attach to the existing buckles on the tent tops, while eyelets make it easy to insert the tent poles. Top ropes are included and are easily adjusted with rope tensioners that match the rest of the tent,

How to use the Stargazer Kit

1. Start by securing the four corners of the tent floor with ground pegs so that it lies taut in its parallelogram shape.

2. Clamp the Stargazer adapters to the two tops of the tent with the matching buckles.

3. Take one peak at a time:

   • Extend your tent pole so that it is 5-10 cm higher than the inner tent top.

   • Insert the tip of the pole into the eyelet.

   • Stretch out the storm cord and anchor it with a ground stake.

   • The storm rope should be aligned approximately with the ridge of the tent. If the line is pulled in a different direction, the inner tent may twist and reduce the space.

4. Use the supplied line tensioner to adjust the line so that it fits properly.

5. Repeat the same process for the other top.
