Gossamer Gear The One is an ultralight one-person tent with generous headroom, smart ventilation, and impressive weather protection. A great choice for those who want to keep their pack weight down without sacrificing comfort on the trail.

Built for long hikes

The One is designed for weight-conscious hikers, thru-hikers, and mountain hikers who want to combine extremely low weight with comfortable shelter.

Despite its light weight, the tent offers plenty of space for one person and gear. The interior height of 124.5 cm makes it easy to sit upright, change clothes, and organize your gear inside the tent.

The asymmetrical shape makes efficient use of the space and provides a more spacious feel than many other ultralight one-person tents.

The recommended maximum height for the user is approximately 190 cm. The tent floor is 213 cm long, but because the tent walls slope, taller people may come close to the tent fabric at their head and feet.

New ClearSkies™ Material

The latest version of The One is made from Gossamer Gear’s new ClearSkies™ 15D Recycled Robic. The fabric is reinforced with a 20D ripstop grid and features a water-repellent silicone and PU coating.

Compared to the previous generation, the material is:

• 35% stronger
• More than twice as waterproof
• PFAS-free
• Equipped with factory-taped seams

The material has a water column rating of 4,923 mm and provides excellent protection even during prolonged periods of rain.

Pitches with hiking poles

The Gossamer Gear The One can be pitched using two hiking poles or a separate tent pole set. The recommended pole length is 125 cm.

By using your hiking poles as tent poles, you avoid having to carry traditional tent poles and can keep the total pack weight down.
