Gramjakt UL Quilt -6 Regular/Wide V3 - A new level of comfort and performance

The third generation of Gramjakt's popular quilt is here - V3 - an even more elaborate version of an already appreciated quilt for ultralight adventurers. The quilt's improvements make it the most comfortable, functional and well-insulated version yet - without compromising on weight.

Designed in Umeå - built for Swedish mountains

The design for this quilt was developed by us at Gramjakt in Umeå, with a clear goal: to create a quilt that really works - in the Swedish mountain climate. From the first sketch, we have been based on the needs of reality, with close contact with hikers who have completed the Green Band and other long-distance hikers who know what recurring sub-zero temperatures mean in practice.

We have never compromised on warmth. That's why the Gramjakt UL Quilt -6 V3 is filled with 516 grams of high-quality RDS-certified duck down that really delivers even when it's cold, windy and damp for several days. We know moisture finds its way into any system - but with more down, better baffle construction, and a quilt that's more resistant to cold, we've created a sleeping system that continues to keep you warm when you need it most.

All our quilts are built with the same basic idea in mind: a generous width and shape that works for all types of sleepers - back, stomach, side - without creating gaps along the sleeping surface. The extra width also allows greater freedom of movement without losing warmth.

Every time we've made an update, we've improved the design, little by little. And with this year's version, V3, we've taken another leap forward - with better durability, more technical heat management and smarter details. This is our best quilt yet. Developed in the real world. Tested in the real world. And ready for your next trip.

What's new in V3?
  • Superdry 850 cuin RDS certified duck down, with a whopping 480 grams of fill, providing reliable warmth down to around comfort -6°C / limit -12°C.
  • Redesigned longitudinal baffles that improve down distribution - less cold spots, more sleep peace.
  • Updated footbox with double locking system and fuller end baffles for better sealing and comfort around the feet.
  • Outer fabric in 10 denier nylon with DWR treatment - lightweight, durable and water repellent.
  • Weight has been reduced by about 20 grams compared to V2 - total weight now only 775g ±15g.

Why are our quilts slightly heavier than some competitors?

Our quilts are generally both longer and wider than many comparable models of the same size. For example, an EE quilt in size Reg/Wide is about 192 cm long, while our equivalent model is 194 + 16cm draft collars. The extra size provides better comfort and more room for movement.

We also use slightly more down, both to improve warmth and to create effective draft collars that reduce heat leakage.

One important detail is the draft collars. Many quilts on the market state their weight without draft collars, while our quilts have two integrated draft collars. This gives better thermal efficiency but of course affects the weight slightly.

In summary: our quilts are bigger, better insulated and more heat efficient than many comparable alternatives - and despite this, they are still very low in weight in relation to the heat they deliver.

Designed for maximum flexibility

  • The quilt's zipper and buckles make it easy to open up fully, use it as a duvet or wrap it around your sleeping pad for a snug and warm sleeping solution.
  • Drawcords at the head and bottom allow you to adjust the fit exactly as needed.

  • Extra wide model - 147 cm across the shoulders, 127 cm at the foot end - perfect for back sleepers, side sleepers and those who want some room to move.

About Gramjakt:

GramJakt Quilts - Designed without compromise

GramJakt is a Swedish brand based in Umeå, where all operations are based. This is where design, prototyping and product development take place - with a simple conviction:

ultralight outdoor gear should never feel like a compromise.

In our early years, we produced locally in Sweden and later within the EU. This gave us full control, but also tied up a lot of time and energy on machinery, logistics and administration - time that could otherwise have been spent on what really matters: design, testing and refinement.

As our ambitions grew, so did our demands.

To create the best quilts on the market, in the volume our customers demanded, we made a conscious decision: to partner with the world's foremost specialists in quilt production - wherever they are.

It all starts in Umeå.
This is where our products are designed, prototyped and refined through iterative testing. Each quilt is tested during long hikes in the Swedish mountains, in environments where equipment must work - day after day, in varying and often demanding conditions.

To achieve the highest possible quality on a larger scale, we now work with a small number of carefully selected production partners - specialists who can meet our uncompromising demands on craftsmanship, choice of materials and ethical production methods. These collaborations make it possible to use the market's best materials and advanced designs without compromising on quality. production methods.

Today, every GramJakt quilt is made with:
  • RDS-certified DownTek™ down
  • Ultralight fabrics of the highest quality
  • Carefully engineered details, refined through years of design and field testing in Swedish mountain environments

Our production costs are high - deliberately so.
We don't compromise on materials, labor or quality.

What sets us apart is the structure around the product. Traditional brands often work through multiple sales channels - agents, distributors, wholesalers and retailers - creating both cost and distance between design decisions and the end customer.

We have chosen a simpler route.
Through direct sales and a scaled-down organization, we can put our resources where they make the biggest difference: in materials, design and long-term product development.

Everything we do is based in Umeå, Sweden - from the first sketch to the finished product.

Production without compromise.
No unnecessary steps.
Only quilts built to perform - everywhere, for a long time.
