Elementum Pack 50L
Elementum means “base” in Latin—and that perfectly describes the backpack’s philosophy. The backpack is the foundation of your gear and a reliable companion for everything from weekend trips to long thru-hikes.
Elementum is Liteway’s most popular backpack and has been used by hundreds of hikers over thousands of kilometers. Its minimalist design combines low weight with thoughtful details to deliver high functionality without unnecessary weight.
The frameless design is ideal for ultralight packing up to about 12 kg. The roll-top closure makes it easy to adjust the volume to fit your pack, while the trapezoidal shape of the backpack provides better packability and weight distribution.
Seven easily accessible pockets provide plenty of space for water, snacks, electronics, and other gear you’ll want to reach during your hike. The stretch pockets on the shoulder straps and the spacious hip belt pockets mean you won’t have to stop to grab your essentials.
Elementum is available in two material options with different properties:
- Ecopak™ EPX200 – a highly durable laminate made of 100% recycled polyester with a C0 DWR treatment and a 70D Ripstop backing that provides high seam strength and a long service life.
- UltraGrid™ – a lightweight, tear-resistant fabric woven from recycled 210D nylon with Ultra™ Ripstop, C0 DWR, and a 1500 mm PU coating.
The fabrics are completely waterproof, but since the seams are not taped, the backpack is not fully waterproof. For hiking in heavy, persistent rain, a pack liner or waterproof stuff sacks are recommended.
