The Flextail Zero Pump 2 is no overbuilt gadget project. It does one thing, and it does it really well. Push the button, put it in the valve and let it do the work while you get the rest of the camp done. Unpack your backpack, pitch your tent or start cooking - by the time you're done, the mattress usually is too.

We've tested it in everything from open stretches along the Green Belt to forest glades outside Umeå, and it has delivered every time. It's one of those little gadgets that quickly goes from "fun to have" to standard in the pack.

Size-wise? Think small cigar. It measures around 7.5 cm and weighs about 29 grams without the battery (about 48 grams with). In practice, that means you barely notice it's there - until you use it.

The performance is more than enough for its purpose. Airflow is up to 200 L/min and pressure around 0.5 PSI, which means that most sleeping pads fill up quickly and without fuss. The battery lasts for about 20 minutes of operation - in practice, several inflations per charge.
