In version 9, the model has been updated with a Vibram® Megagrip outsole that provides secure grip on both wet and dry surfaces, whether you are moving on mountain trails, forest trails or technical terrain.
The updated Altra EGO™ midsole is lighter than before and offers a balanced combination of comfort, responsiveness and ground feel. You get enough cushioning for long days on the trail while maintaining contact with the ground.
The durable 100% recycled RPET ripstop mesh upper is built for many miles on the trail. Seamless reinforcements add durability without adding unnecessary weight.
Like previous generations, the Lone Peak 9 is built on Altra's renowned 0mm drop concept and the roomy Original FootShape™ last. The generous toe box gives your toes room to move naturally and can contribute to increased comfort during long days when your feet swell.
