Gear Aid - field Silnylon repair patches

Two repair patches specially adapted for silicone fabrics/ silicone coated fabrics, suitable for repairing tears and holes in tents and other outdoor equipment made from silicone treated fabrics.

The repair patches are very easy to use: make sure the area around the tear or hole is dry and clean, cut to size and apply pressure.

• Two pieces of pre-glued repair patches.

Ripstop is a weaving technique where reinforcement threads are woven into the fabric. Often you can see small grid patterns in the fabric where reinforcement threads are crisscrossed. There is also smooth ripstop where the reinforcements are not visible. If a ripstop fabric develops a hole, the reinforcement threads reduce the risk of the hole growing and becoming larger.
