The Cumulus Teneqa 1000 represents the pinnacle of modern sleeping bag technology - a winter down sleeping bag that combines extreme thermal insulation with surprisingly low weight. With its advanced construction, generous amount of high-quality Polish down and meticulous design, it is created for the most demanding winter expeditions, where every detail matters.
The Teneqa 1000 proves that higher technology doesn't have to mean higher weight. With a total weight of only 1,510 g and 1,000 g of 850 FP Polish goose down, it offers unbeatable warmth for its weight. The comfort temperature is an impressive -19°C, with a limit temperature of -30°C - perfect for winter hiking in arctic conditions or alpine environments.
The sleeping bag has an anatomically shaped hood and footbox with a shark fin design that maximizes heat retention and minimizes cold air pockets. In addition, four extra down chambers along the sides provide even heat distribution and keep the down in place throughout the night. The brick-patterned down chambers reduce the risk of cold spots, further improving the insulating properties of the sleeping bag.
The Teneqa 1000 is designed with a slightly wider fit, typical of winter models, which allows you to store gear inside the sleeping bag to protect it from the cold or use extra insulation, like a large down jacket.
Other features that contribute to its functionality include:
Two insulated down channels along the zipper to prevent heat leakage.
Anti-snag clip that prevents the fabric from getting caught in the zipper.
Separately filled upper and lower sections for optimal heat distribution.
Inner zippered pocket with luminous pullers for easy access in the dark.
Ventilation possibility at the foot end and possibility to combine with other sleeping bags.
Filling: 850 FP ethically produced Polish goose down - known as the world's best.
Outer fabric: Pertex® Quantum 29 g/m², an ultra-light but durable ripstop nylon with DWR impregnation for extra protection.
Zipper: Full-length YKK® 5 mm with double self-locking runners, zip garage and insulated baffles. The zipper is on the left side
All Cumulus® products are proudly made in Poland, ensuring the highest quality, ethical production and minimal climate impact. In addition, the company donates 1% of its sales to environmental organizations working to preserve biodiversity and restore natural habitats.
