Cumulus Tarp Hemlock

Weighing only 173 grams,the Tarp Hemlock is the lightest tarp in the range - an obvious choice for minimalists who travel light during the summer months. With a water column of at least 2000 mm, it effectively protects against light rain and works great as an emergency shelter or rain cover over a hammock. It also provides reliable protection from strong sun without noticeably increasing the weight of the pack.

The characteristic asymmetrical shape is especially adapted for those who sleep diagonally in a hammock, so-called Brazilian style. Despite its extremely low weight, the Hemlock is surprisingly durable. The tarp is made of 26 g/m² silnylon in 10 denier ripstop, silicone coated on both sides for high weather resistance. Exposed areas are reinforced with heavier fabric for increased durability, making it more durable than many other products in the same weight class.

The entire system - tarp, lines and pack bag - fits easily into an ultra-compact backpack. You get effective protection from disruptive but harmless weather conditions without compromising pack weight.
