This is the ultimate minimalist tarp shelter for those who want maximum performance at minimum weight. The Hyperlite Mountain Gears Flat Tarp in Dyneema® Composite Fabric is built for demanding conditions in the mountains and wilderness - without unnecessary details.
The flat construction with straight edges and reinforced attachment points provides extreme flexibility. You can set up the tarp in a variety of ways depending on the weather, terrain and needs - from open, airy solutions to fully weather-protected configurations.
The material is fully waterproof thanks to fully taped seams and also offers very high durability and excellent UV resistance. The result is a reliable shelter that can withstand tough conditions while keeping weight extremely low.
Use with hiking poles or hanging between trees. For extra protection against insects and precipitation, the tarp can be combined with Hyperlite Mountain Gear inserts (sold separately).
