Six Moon Designs 5 Section Pole -CARBON FIBER
If you are a cyclist, paddler, or do not carry hiking poles, you may want to consider using our carbon fiber poles to support your tent. These poles are extremely strong. They are stronger than aluminum yet weigh less. Custom made by Easton Mountain Products, these carbon fiber poles will not break despite strong winds. The 5-section poles pack down even less than the original carbon fiber Easton poles with 11" sections.
Some tents require two poles for setup; be sure to review the setup instructions before purchasing.

Carbon fiber poles have built-in flexibility. When setting up your tent, you want to tighten the outer tent just to the point where the poles create a slight bend. Then loosen the tension slightly until it is vertical. This is more than enough tension to keep your shelter upright, even with high wind loads.
