PyraOmm Duo Tarp
The PyraOmm Duo Tarp is an ultralight pyramid-style shelter for those who want a lightweight, spacious shelter with excellent wind stability in a simple, fast-and-light design. With over 4 m² of interior space, it’s designed for two people but can also accommodate three people for overnight stays if needed.
The tarp features two separate openings with water-repellent YKK AquaGuard zippers, making it easy to enter and exit from both sides. The pyramid-shaped design provides excellent stability in the wind, while its light weight and compact pack size make it perfect for hiking, bikepacking, and minimalist adventures.
The PyraOmm Duo Tarp can be set up with a single trekking pole in the center, with two trekking poles in an A-shape for increased interior space, or hung from the top. At least four tent stakes are required for setup. Tent stakes and trekking poles are not included.
By combining the tarp with the PyraOmm Half Mesh 1P or PyraOmm Duo Full Mesh, you get an ultralight, frameless two-layer shelter with extra comfort and protection against insects.
Seam Sealing
The seams are not factory-sealed. For the best weather protection, we recommend sealing the seams with a silicone-based sealant, such as McNett Seam Grip + SIL —formerly known as McNett Silnet Seam Sealer.
4-Step Setup
- Stretch out the corners with tent stakes to form a regular rectangle.
- Place the trekking pole vertically from the inside up toward the top of the tarp, approximately 130 cm. At the top, there is a reinforced X-Pac protective pocket for a pole or an A-frame setup.
- Tighten the lines to secure the tarp evenly and stably.
- Attach additional storm lines as needed for increased stability in windy conditions.

Important Information
The sharp tips of the trekking poles must always be protected with pole tips or similar protection. Alternatively, a soft cloth or other equipment can be placed between the pole tip and the tarp. Never insert sharp pole tips directly into the top of the tarp, as this can damage or puncture the material.
