The Tarptent Dipole 2 DW offers outstanding space and protection in an extremely lightweight package, perfect for long treks in Scandinavia. The tent is made from durable, silicone-treated 20D nano-ripstop polyester that won't stretch when wet - a crucial feature for our rainy and humid Nordic conditions. The 30D silnylon 6.6 floor can withstand over 5000 mm of water pressure and is built for tough terrain.

Solid inner wall - optimal protection and warmth
The solid inner wall with two-thirds covered fabric and one-third mesh effectively protects against horizontal rain, snow, sand and cold winds. It also provides a noticeably warmer indoor climate - up to around 4°C higher temperature in calm conditions - which is ideal during cold nights in mountains and forests.

Great for taller and wider sleeping pads
With a clever reverse tapered floor design, the Dipole 2 DW provides extra head and foot room, perfect for tall hikers and wide, thick sleeping pads. There's plenty of room both for two people and for organizing gear.

Thoughtfully designed for tough weather
Steep walls effectively shake off snow and reduce snow load. The tent's low edges and high bathtub floor (15 cm) offer safe protection from driving rain and meltwater. With two separate doors and vestibules, you can get in and out easily, while keeping your gear dry and organized.

Quick and flexible set-up
Dipole 2 DW is made to be simple and fast: a stable 4-peg pitch in under 1.5 minutes. The tent can be erected fly-first, which keeps the inner tent dry even when pitching in the rain. Fly and inner can also be used separately depending on needs and weather.

Lightweight and compact for long distance hiking
Despite its spacious interior, the Dipole 2 DW packs down to just 30.5 cm in length thanks to collapsible carbon fiber flysheet. The low weight and small pack size means the tent fits easily into a smaller backpack - perfect for longer hikes where every gram counts.
